Grandmother Jean Swatman may hav won the £2 million jackpot with a lucky dip Lotto ticket, but she's planning to keep her job as a doughnut-maker at Morrisons!
The 62 year old baker works four days a week at her local store - and has done for 10 years - and isn't prepared to give up the job she loves. Nor will she give up her three-bedroom terraced home; she's lived their for 20 years and can't imagine using her £2,021,379 winnings to swap it for a plush mansion.
"I'm going to invest some for the grandchildren, but that's about it really. I'm not one for spending lots."
She explained to the press: "It's not changed me. I'm still going to work - for the moment, anyway. All my workmates are great. I just enjoy going. It's just something different."
"You don't get sick of Morrisons doughnuts. They are lovely. I make hundreds of them every day and I still like them."
Well, quite.
Mrs Swatman, who has two children and five grandchildren, added that she's still a bargain hunter - and says that her biggest plan for the money is to invest it for her grandchildren:
"It still actually feels a bit unreal. I don't think that's actually sunk in that I've got that sort of money."
"I've not made any extravagant purchases - just the car and I had my kitchen and lounge revamped, and I bought some jewellery in Cambodia. But apart from that I haven't. I'm not that sort of person. My daughter tells me off for looking for the bargains."
"I think with that amount of money you would have a hard job to spend it all anyway. I'm going to invest some for the grandchildren, but that's about it really. I'm not one for spending lots."
We love that this grounded granny isn't about to let her winnings change her - and we really admire her strong work ethic. We're not so sure we could face waking up at 5.30am every day when we could just as easily stay snuggled in our beds!
