Aaron Jones, who suffers from ADHD, was never invited to other children’s parties in his hometown of Flint, in North Wales, his mum claimed so - she decided to take action.
She decided to organise a big party for Aaron but it quickly became apparent that Aaron wasn’t the only child who’d been left off Birthday lists – so his party soon turned into something much bigger.
Now, over 100 children and adults are expected at the enormous party – thanks to the generosity of local people and businesses. According to the Daily Post, the event will feature a bouncy castle, a disco and a buffet to put any soggy-edged sarnies and sausage rolls to shame.
“This just shows the kind face of Flint who are going to give these children a great day to remember,” Flint councillor Alex Aldridge said.
People in our town are so kind and have hearts as large of a lion. Ysgol Pen Coch is a very worth cause and I praise all those involved with organising this event for their efforts.”
The party organisers are still looking for raffle prize donations – all proceeds go to special needs school Ysgol Pen Coch – so if you think you could help, please contact: Amanda Butler on 01352 733347.
