Business leaders and campaigners, including Alistair Campbell and Lord Sugar have signed our open letter to Prime Minister Theresa May.

Today Where's Your Head At - our campaign for better mental health provisions in the workplace received a massive boost when 50 leaders from some of Britain’s biggest employers signed our letter to the Prime Minister Theresa May calling on the government to amend health and safety legislation to put mental and physical first aid on an equal footing.

The letter which is to be delivered to the Prime Minister was also signed by Lord Alan Sugar and journalist, broadcaster and mental health campaigner Alistair Campbell and is part of Bauer’s Where’s Your Head At campaign, which is calling for Mental Health First Aiders to be made a legal requirement in the workplace in the same way as medical first aiders are.

We launched our fantastic campaign, Where’s Your Head At, in May, and since then we’ve had almost 200,000 signatures on our petition, and support from celebrities including Professor Green, Fearne Cotton and the cast of Love Island, as well as a huge amount of support from business.

Check out pictures from event in October, where we delivered our petition to Downing Street:

And now? We want the law changed. It’s currently a legal requirement to have a medical first aider in most workplaces, but there’s no provision for mental health first aiders in the same way, and we want this to change

So far, a fantastic 200,000 people have signed our petition calling for the law to be changed, and we want to keep adding to this number right up until it happens, so don’t forget to sign and add your voice to the campaign here. And if you’ve already done so, please do share our petition with your friends and family. We’re so close to getting the law changed, and every name counts!
