Working parents Yuna Nevzorova, 30, and husband Evgeny, 35, were suspicious when they discovered savings they'd stored in an envelope in their bedroom had gone missing.

They decided to install a hidden camera in a bid to track down their disappearing savings - but, when they watched the footage back, they were horrified.

Housemaid Iraida Vasilyeva, 36, was caught red handed as rifled through the bedroom of her employers, going through envelopes and wallets in a bid to find cash, which she then shoves in her pockets.

She is then seen rifling through the drawers of the bedside table, while Yuna and Evgeny's baby lies on the bed, before shoving the wads of cash into her knickers.

Yuna said: "At first it was only a small amount and we thought that perhaps we had counted it incorrectly.

"But then we found a larger amount had gone missing the following week.

"We realised it could only be the housemaid so we set up a hidden camera to see what she was doing."

A police spokesman added: "In total she took 250,000 Rubles (£4,000) and hid most of it down her knickers as the baby lay on the bed."

The woman now faces two years in jail.
