One mum knew exactly what to put under the Christmas tree for her children, and it can’t be bought at Toys R Us.
Ruth Stevens was ecstatic to discover her husband Scott would be home in time for Christmas, and knew just how to break the news to their young children.
Waking them up early one morning, Ruth took the kids down to the Christmas tree to show them a huge present which had appeared overnight.
Telling the little ones an ‘elf’ had put the present there, the video shows the excited children unwrapping the present, only to find their father hiding underneath the mound of wrapping paper.
In an emotional reunion the kids can be heard screaming, ‘daddy!’ as Ruth asks them how much they’ve missed him over the last three months.
Luckily for us Ruth filmed the heartwarming moment, and the video has already had almost 5000 shares on Facebook.
Aw, we can see why.. sniff.
