When Rowden Go proposed to his girlfriend Leizel May, he had no idea that shorty after he would contract stage IV liver cancer.

Victims of the aggressive cancer face a low survival rate, but that didn’t stop Rowden, 29, from wanting to fulfil his last wish: to marry Leizel.

His dream was to say ‘I do’ to the one he loved in front of all of their family and friends – and their two-year-old daughter Zakiah, 

And they made it happen.

Rowden’s illness meant the couple had to bring their planned wedding forward to June instead of July, and they had just 12 hours to prepare.

He was so ill that the whole ceremony had to take place in the hospital, and he couldn’t leave his bed, but from the look on his face you would never guess.

He looked so happy to be marrying Leizel, who couldn’t hold back the tears herself.

The clip shows emotions were high throughout the entire ceremony, during which little Zakiah was flower girl.

Sadly, Rowden passed away just ten hours after he and Leizel exchanged vows.
