The Christmas spirit is alive at Canada's Sunnybrook Hospital.

In an adorable video, two nurses from the Toronto hospital and research centre sing a Christmas carol to a premature baby.

The video was posted on the hospital's official Twitter account. "The spirit of the season is alive in our NICU. Watch as two nurses sing a carol to preemie baby Anya…" read the caption.

Good wishes flooded in from people who'd seen the video.

"Hoping Anya and her family can be together before too long!" wrote one person.

"Beautiful! To the amazing Nurses of NICU, who care for these tiny miracles everyday, have yourselves a very Merry Christmas!" said another.

One Twitter user said they themselves were once in a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and wanted to thank the nurses that had saved their life.

"I was once a small baby just like that one! Thank god that I am still very happy and alive to this day! GOD BLESS THIS BABY!" they wrote.

In the video, two nurses sing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas while gently placing their hands on baby Anya.

We hope Anya is home with her family before too long.
