Michelle Hui was left heartbroken when she had a miscarriage six weeks into her pregnancy.

The 31-year-old, already a mother of two, underwent five scans to confirm her loss.

Shortly after this, Michelle faced the trauma of taking an abortion pill to make sure nothing was left behind to cause infection.

But days later, something wonderful happened.

As Michelle was being prepared for a final treatment to clear her uterus, a ­preparatory scan revealed a tiny heartbeat.

Doctors quickly discovered that she had been pregnant with twins - and that one had incredibly survived both the miscarriage and abortion pill.

Michelle went on to give birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Megan, who is now 18 weeks old.

Speaking with The Mirror, an overjoyed Michelle said: "The doctors said it was a blessing. They have never heard of anything like it.

"She’s our little miracle.”
