An idiotic man who phoned a radio station to admit he’d been cheating on his wife was caught out by one of her friends.
The caller, who called himself Michael, called The Niall Boylan Show in Dublin to join in a phone in about infidelity. The cheat admitted that he’d had four one night stands during his 17 years of marriage before saying his wife knew about one of them.
Incredibly, Michael even told the host that some of the women were close friends of his wife.
But his boasts were soon silenced when another caller came on the line – his wife’s friend, Claire.
Unbeknown to Michael, Claire had been listening to the whole show and had recognised his voice and was so astounded by his claims, she called up the show and asked to be put into the conversation.
In what can only be described as a painfully desperate attempt to rectify the mess, Michael tried to claim he was just messing around but the damage was done
Later on in the day, Michael’s wife Anne then contacted the show to slam her (now ex) husband’s admission.
“He can apologise all he wants but I won't be accepting any [apologies] from him,” she said. “I don't know where he got his big brave head and his secrets out on radio.
“I spoke to their [the women Michael claims he slept with] husbands this morning, so you didn't just wreck one marriage, you wrecked four, so good luck to you.
“I'm coming over later to take the car with me, so you better find yourself a shelter.”
Michael certainly got his comeuppance. To listen back to the conversations in full, click here.
