Young mum Sharmayne Howard, 16, recently revealed to The Sun that motherhood was the best thing that could have ever happened to her, despite the fact it meant she was unable to sit her GCSEs.

And now controversial columnist Katie Hopkins, 39, has taken to Twitter to slam the teenage mum for her behaviour, insisting that 'stupid mums breed stupid children'.
She began by tweeting: "Sharmayne says she was home schooled. By whom? Joey Essex?"

And then she added: "You may not need GCSE's to be a mum. You do need them to have a job. And frankly the taxpayer has no wish to fund your thick children.
"I have no GCSE's but I am a good mum = I am thick as an unsliced loaf but managed to work out how to have unprotected sex."

Twitter users immediately took offence to Katie's attack on young mums, with one user writing: "I have no GCSES and I don't work and have two kids, you going to judge me now!"

Katie cattily responded: "Yes darling, I am. Stupid mums breed stupid kids. And so the cycle continues."
Ouch.
It's not the first time Katie has spoken about women starting families too young; when Kirstie Allsopp controversially asked girls to have babies before going to university, the former Apprentice host slmmed her for her outdated opinion.
She said at the time: "Without a career and the sanity of the workplace, I may well have chucked myself off a cliff edge from the boredom of sitting at home all day waiting for the school run.
"Being a mother takes many skills. However being a successful mother is far easier if you learn to love your life as a woman first"
