Inspirational family shaves off hair to support 5-year-old cancer sufferer Lilly

In a move that touched hearts across the country, a little girl’s family have shaved their heads, after the youngster lost her hair during chemotherapy treatment.

Young Lilly-Grace Honeysett-Beale, who sadly sufferers from leukemia, was distraught after losing her beloved hair.

When the 5-year-old started crying at the sight of her hair falling out as it was being brushed, her 34-year-old mother Becky immediately offered to shave off her own hair.

And Lilly’s support network didn’t end there. Her father Ben, 27, grandmother Joanne, 57, and sisters Summer Rose, 4 and Leilah, 11, all followed suit.

The family- with Lilly front right in the above picture- shared a touching family picture with their shaved heads on Lilly’s Just Giving page, which has so far received £1,499.

Lilly was diagnosed with leukemia last December after falling ill.

When Becky took her her GP, she was immediately admitted to hospital.

Thankfully the youngster is doing much better, with Becky adding:

“She is so strong and has adjusted so well.”
