This Instagram model has had enough of people's fake holiday photos of their thighs by the pool

You know what we're talking about.

Someone on your social media posts that they're going on holiday and the next thing you know, you're playing a game of "hot dogs or legs".

There seems to be a very strategic way of taking a photo of your legs whilst you're lying down that makes them look about half the size.

We haven't quite mastered it here at Closer Online.

But one Instagram model, whose job it is to pose poolside in bikinis, has had enough of the harsh standards being placed upon thighs who should just be enjoying themselves on holiday and relaxing in the sun.

NOT being mistaken for hot dogs.

Imre Çeçen is a fitness blogger who recently uploaded a photo that the internet has fallen in love with.

On the left-hand side, Imre's legs are raised slightly, giving off the hot dog leg look we've been on about.

But on the right-hand side, Imre lets her legs sit on the surface - and thankfully, they look a bit bigger than the ones on the left.

The blogger wrote: "Anyone familiar with the concept of having all 'normal' legs when you're standing but as soon as you sit down they transform into huge piles of meat?

"Why is it that those two sticks we use to walk expand to the size of Texas whenever they touch a chair?"

Oh Imre. You are somehow reading our innermost thoughts right now.

She continues: "This is the most NORMAL thing ever yet us girls seem to be so self conscious about it. Hello! Your legs are being pushed against a surface, they are supposed to expand! This doesn't mean you're fat. Even muscle will just look like a huge shapeless pile of meat when there's no flexing involved!"

She even jokingly suggested investing in "stone legs" if you're not happy with the natural look.

"We've just lost touch with reality because on the internet all we see are those freaking hot dog legs. I am guilty of posting those too! Yet even I wondered on my last vacay why my legs were so 'big' when I sat down."

Imre explained that she nearly gave herself a hernia trying to take a good "comparison" photo, explaining that it was "real hard" and that she had to arch her back and even nearly fell in the pool!

She added: "Both my camera & I would have drowned in the sadness of insta perfection! To people who do sit like this in real life; I admire your core strength & willpower! Yep, that's the truth behind poolside hotdog pics. Truth be told I'd much rather sit like that right pic whilst enjoying an actual hotdog."

So true! You go Imre!

She finishes off the post by clarifying: "I don't think there's anything wrong with the way my legs look in the pic on the right. Just showing you the difference!"

We'll definitely be looking at those hot dog legs a bit differently from now on!
