It's something Gavin Beales , 50, can identify with. For the past 15 years he's had over £100k of surgery to perfect his look as alter-ego Leah True.

His journey has been far from smooth, but the results have been incredible, as Gavin proves by posing in a corset like Caitlyn for Closer's exclusive photo shoot.

Gavin, who designs power tools, says: "It's liberating to be in a corset- it's the ultimate test of dressing as a woman, as there's nowhere to hide! I think Bruce coming out as Caitlyn is incredibly positive and will break down stigma towards the transgender community.

"Trans teenagers are lucky these days- there's an acceptance to being transgender, which wasn't around when I was younger. If I could have chosen to be born a woman, I probably would have. And if I had Bruce's millions I might make the complete transformation."
