Oscar Pistorius has been found guilty of culpable homicide in the final day of Judge Masipa's verdict.
The verdict comes after the athlete was also found guilty of two gun charges.
Judge Masipa went over the evidence from the lengthy trial, coming to the conclusion that the screams were that of Reeva Steenkamp rather than Oscars, as claimed by the athlete.
The charge of culpable homocide is the South African equivilant to manslaughter in the UK and is described under law as "the unlawful negligent killing of a human being."
27-year-old Oscar was asked to stand before Judge Masipa gave her final verdict.
Reeva's parents- who sat just yards away from the athelete- appeared to shake their heads as the verdict was read out.
The court heard that there believed to be 'contaminated' evidence at the scene of the shooting, which contributed to the final outcome of the trial.
Oscar could be facing up to fifteen years in prison following the guilty verdicts.
Yesterday, the judge ruled there were not enough facts to prove the most serious charge of pre-meditated murder against the athlete.
She said: "The state has not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder.
"There are just not enough facts to support such a finding."
Reeva was shot dead at the athlete's home on Valentine's Day in 2013.
Pistorius claims that he mistook Reeva for an intruder, whilst the prosecution accused him of premeditated murder.
