The ad opens with an obese man lying on an operating table, at 300 lbs by the age of 33.

The doctor is seen shaking his head before turning to the nurse and asking: “How does that happen?”

The short clip them tracks the man’s life in reverse, showing him eating countless fast food meals and drinking fizzy drinks as he sits on the sofa.

More heartbreakingly, the clip also shows him struggling to play with his kids, hindered by heavy breathing due to his weight.

The ad finished with the man as a toddler, being fed french fries by his mother as it’s the ‘only thing that will keep him quiet.’
