WATCH: Chameleon loves popping bubbles

Hey, remember Pudsey the adorable dancing dog? The one who’s apparently more talented than everyone else in the Britain? Especially at dancing? Well the winner of the ITV talent show might just have a new rival:

Laura, the bubble-popping chameleon.

The wonderfully cute, emerald green reptile is going viral thanks to an adorable ability to – you guessed it – pop bubbles. Watching Laura use her tiny claw-like hands to take down bubble after bubble, much to the delight of her owner, it’s hard not to be jealous of such impressive hand-eye coordination.

Perched on her owner’s hand and bearing more than a passing resemblance to Baby Groot from the end of last summer’s smash Marvel hit ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, Laura sways as though in a Zen-like trance, bulbous eyes swollen like the very bubbles she takes such manic delight in popping. If Pixar were ever thinking of making a reptile version of The Karate Kid, well, I think we’ve found our star….

Either that, or just give her a cameo in Kung Fu Panda 3.

And if watching the teensy Laura commit a bubble genocide wasn’t filling your daily ‘joy quota’, then the delighted encouragement of her owner might just help you out. Mainly because Laura’s owner, Nick (@voemas), sounds suspiciously like deceased King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

However, one question remains: why doesn’t Laura just pop the bubbles with her tongue, like some kind of insane chameleon sharpshooter?

Now there’s a video we want to see.
