Liz Marks was texting while driving one day, causing her to crash and changing her life forever.

AMY CHILDS: "I'M SCARED TO GET BACK IN MY CAR"

In the clip, Liz explains that the accident left her blind in one eye, hard of hearing and with no sense of smell.

She says that before her accident, she was a popular, smart girl with a bright future ahead of her. But using her phone while driving changed all of that.

Liz’ friends were there for her initially after the accident, but soon ‘got tired of dealing with her problems’.

Her mother is clearly distraught by what has happened to her daughter, but admits she had no idea Liz would use her phone in the car.

Liz says: “Everyone else was doing it, so I thought it was okay. I thought I was invincible but clearly I was very wrong.”

After it is revealed that Liz was in fact reading a text from her mother when the crash happened, she adds: “If you get a text, don’t look at it. It’s not worth it.”
