Just three days after this video was filmed, Mary Ann Manning tragically passed away after losing her battle with breast cancer.

The mother and son duo danced to Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s “Over the Rainbow/What A Wonderful World” during the touching scene, which will almost certainly be a memory that will stay with every wedding guest in attendance.

Mary Ann was fighting breast cancer whilst her son Ryan planned his big day, and she refused to let her disease cause her to miss out on what would be one of her proudest moments.

It’s safe to say there was not a single dry eye in the house.

Mary Ann passed away just three days later, and her family wrote in her obituary (referring to her and son Ryan’s song choice): “We will never forget your love… May the rainbows follow you forever.”
