Callum Robertson from Angus was at work when he made the discovery. He decided to pick up the helpless kitten and keep her safe and warm in his pocket until he could bring her indoors.

He wrote on his Facebook page: “Today at work I heard a meow and found a kitten about two weeks old abandoned in some woods, lying there dying in the rain, so I kept her in my pocket all day to make sure she was kept warm and safe, I've brought her home and feeding her milk and making sure she will be alright!”
Callum also posted a video showing the kitten’s journey from the cold and rain (where you can hear her agonising cries) to the warm comfort of a cosy blanket in Callum’s home.

Thankfully, the kitten appears to be on the mend thanks to Callum’s quick thinking.
A few hours later her shared more news on the social networking site.
“Just an update on the kitten, she is breathing normally finally and is resting on a furry blanket wrapped around a hot water bottle, we have been to the shops and bought kitten specific milk to keep her energy levels up. We are taking the little one to the vets tomorrow to check up on her, but everything is looking positive for the kitten to survive. Glad I never gave up on trying to save her!”
