After several lambs and ducks went missing without explanation, Greek authorities were left scratching their heads for what could have caused the disappearances.

Luckily, a drone camera scanning part of the island solved the mystery - revealing a six foot crocodile swimming in a lake.

Nikistratos Charokopou told Sky News that local people are upset 'because they are in danger. There are farm lands and properties (nearby) and people are in danger, they are afraid.'

'There are rivers from which people draw water to irrigate their fields and they are afraid to visit their land.'

According to reports, authorities are going to try to capture the crocodile on Thursday.
