Just when we thought the cat versus dog rivalry was dead, a video has emerged of a cat chasing away a dog after he tried to attack his little boy owner.
The video shows a little boy cheerfully riding his tricycle up his driveway.
The CCTV footage then cuts to a dog, which starts to sneakily approach the driveway from the other side of a the boy’s parent’s car…
Shockingly, we watch as the dog runs around the car and starts tugging on the boy boisterously, unaware that the boy has fallen from his bike and has started screaming for his mum.
Then, as quick as lightening, the cat darts in, fearlessly throwing itself at the dog.
After the cat briefly looked back to check on the boy- who’s mum had run to his aid- the cat then proceeded to chase the dog out of his territory, scampering behind the dog and insuring the dog was out of sight and far, far away from his owner’s son.
We’re led to believe that dogs are man’s best friend, but it looks like our canine might have fierce competition from out feline friends.
