Seven-year-old Bana Alabed captured the world's attention with her Twitter account, where she's been documenting the horrors of the war in Aleppo.
Along with her mother Fatemah, Bana posted tweets from the warzone, describing how she'd witnessed her house being bombed and the constant fear that they'd be captured by the army.
The avid-reader first hit the news in November, after Harry Potter writer J.K Rowling saw her tweets about wanting to read Harry Potter, but not being able to get hold of a copy. The author then contacted her mother, and sent Bana an e-book, so she'd be able to read the series.
Then, in early December, the pair posted a video plea to Michelle Obama to help them safely escape.
And now, finally, it seems that Bana and her farmily have made it safely out of Aleppo.
The last tweet from Bana's account pleads with the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan to "please make this ceasefire work and get us out now".
According to tweets by aid workers, Bana and her family have been evacuated to a rural area in West Aleppo.
We're relieved to hear they're safe, and hope they continue to get the help and assistance they need.
