The search comes as officers confirmed they have found the red bike belonging to Arnis Zalkalns, the man believed to be linked to the 14 year old’s disappearance.

Detectives in the case have been trying to locate Zalkalns, a Latvian builder, who went missing a week after Alice, on 28 August.
He was last seen on CCTV, cycling along the Grand Union Canal minutes after Alice was seen walking along the same route.
Yesterday it was revealed that Zalkalns, who has a partner and young child in the UK, was jailed in his native country for murdering his wife, following an argument over her sexuality, in the 1990s.
Zalkalns, who’s described as white, 5ft 10, with dark hair which he wears in a ponytail, was arrested in 2009, in London, on suspicion of indecent assault on a 14 year old girl but was never charged.
A £20,000 reward is being offered by police to anyone who has information which could lead detectives to Alice.
