A young boy found quite the surprise inside a Kinder egg when he discovered Crystal Meth.

The Class A drug known for being extremely addictive and can cause brain damage in the long term was hidden in a small sealed plastic bag inside the egg.

Luckily the boy and his brother gave it to their Dad in Belfast who handed it over to the police.

It was revealed by Limadavy DUP councillor Alan Robinson that the Class A drug was found “Hidden in a hedge in the Edenmore Road area of Limavady”.

He added: “As a father of a child, I know how enticing Kinder eggs and their contents are to children.

"In this instance the children are to be commended for passing the contents to their parents.

"Our children are precious and they should not be exposed to such danger.”
