The latest victims of the Grenfell Tower fire have been identified as Farah Hamdan and her six-month-old baby Leena Belkadi
Farah Hamdan, a resident of Grenfell Tower, was found dead in a stairwell with her six-month-old baby Leena Belkadi in her arms.
Their bodies were found on the stairwell between the 19th floor and the 20th floor, where they'd lived with their family.
An inquest held today at Westminster Coroner's Court found that they had both died of inhalation of fire fumes.
Coroner's officer Eric Sword told the court that Leena was "found in her mother's arms".
Leena's father Omar Belkad also perished in the fire.
Farah and Omar's eight-year-old daughter Malak was recovered from the 20th floor and taken to St. Mary's hospital, but she sadly died later in hospital, also from inhalation of fire fumes.
She was taken to the hospital with her six-year-old sister Tamzin, whose fate is unclear.
Our thoughts are with the families affected by the fire.
