Robert, 29, who was originally from Surrey, lived in New Zealand with his wife Sharlene and their two sons, aged four and two. He is believed to be a dog breeder and had been in Europe on business.

Heartbreakingly he sent an email before returning home to his family, telling of his excitement about seeing his them.

“I hope all is well, if we don't talk before hand, I will see you on Saturday.”
