The American undefeated world champion, showed some rather less heroic behaviour, when he posted a sonogram on his social network pages, with the caption:

"The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up was because she got a abortion, and I’m totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies."

However the post received such a backlash, that the boxer was soon forced to take it down.

But this wasn’t the end of his unprovoked attack on the ex. Moments later he posted an unflattering picture of Jackson, with the caption:

“@missjackson Before all the plastic surgery I had to pay for. I'm an Indian giver I want my money back LOL…#PlasticSurgery #TMT".

The 37-year-old split up with Jackson last year amid rumours he had been unfaithful, although a reason was not given at the time.

Mayweather previously served 90 days in prison in 2012 for domestic violence, with ABC news confirming at the time:

“Mayweather pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery charges stemming from an incident two years ago, when he pulled the hair and twisted the arm of Josie Harris, the mother of three of his children. The younger two children watched the abuse while the older child ran out of a back door to fetch a security guard.”
