Irish Terrier Duffy developed diabetes and as a result, sadly lost his eyesight at a young age.

But thankfully, after his loving owners managed to stabilise his diabetes, he became eligible for eye surgery to restore his sight that he had been so desperately missing.

This video reveals the moment Duffy sees his owners for the first time in many months - just look how excited he is.

Duffy can be seen happily bounding around, taking everything in, as he struggles with the cone around his neck.

Thanks to being rescued by the May family, this dog has had a second chance - and we're so happy that he did.

Watch the amazing footage above - it will warm your heart.
