Bitterly angry that forking out for a bike wasn't enough to keep him and his ex together, the man from Cape Town posted his bike on Gumtree. Seeking revenge, the man also listed every digit of his ex girlfriends' number, incase the buyer felt like "being taken for a ride".

The seller explained in the item description, "Bought this bike because my girlfriend was into cycling. She dumped me and I hate cycling. I've used it twice since I bought it. Apparently it's quite a good bike."

Despite being angry that his ex had put the brakes on their relationship, the man was kind to potential buyers, offering to include some cycling shoes along with the bike and his ex partner's number.

"I'll throw some size 9 specialised shoes for measure along with the ex's phone number" he wrote.

It's not clear how recently the seller split with his girlfriend but we hope he'll be back on the dating scene soon. We're sure he'll be successful at finding someone new, after all, no matter how long it's been, dating is easy. It's just like riding a bike.
