WATCH 'Best year of my life': Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae at the Pride of Britain Awards
Wee "handbag dogs" have been trendy for forever but recently the sinister side of over-breeding hit headlines when Love Island 2019's Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague revealed their miniature Pomeranian Mr Chai had died at just a few weeks old.

Chantelle Houghton: ‘I’m not pregnant - I’ve gained 2st of happy weight’
"Tommy and I are utterly heartbroken and shocked to even be writing this," she wrote to her 4.1million followers on Instagram. "Our beautiful new puppy Mr Chai was taken ill in the last few days and has tragically passed away. Chai became our whole world in the short time we had him and we couldn't have taken any better care of him.
"We loved him so much and he brought us more happiness that we can describe. We are really hoping that we can get some clearer answers in the coming days whilst we wait for details and more information from the veterinary experts." The Russian breeder denied being a puppy farm but Molly-Mae and Tommy still faced harsh criticisms for importing a dog instead of adopting from a shelter.
