Tongue-in-cheek tees are fast becoming a firm celeb favourite, with the likes of Cara D, Una Healy and Lucy Watson all getting in on fashion’s funniest joke.

They may have the cash to splash but it seems the stars are having a love affair with t-shirts with a cheeky play on luxury brand names, rather than the real deal.

High fashion labels are being morphed and plastered across sweaters, t-shirts and hats as a fashionable joke. The result? A new trend is born! Woohoo!

The trend began a few years back when Rodarte designed a line of tees emblazoned ‘Radarte’. The trend took off and of late it seems the parody tees are more popular than ever.

Lucy Watson recently rocked a ‘Celfie’ tee, a play on words of the Celine slogan, as did The Saturday’s, Una Healy.

Helen Flanagan added a playful injection of swag to he simple outfit with a Chanel-inspired tee from Thetshirtswag.com, only £45.

Cara Delevingne may walk in runway shows but she still loves a bargain it seems as she showed off her sporty side in a faux Nike slogan tee-nice!
