My festive party style is...
Glitzy tight and colourful. Its the one time of year you can go for full on glamour, so make the most of it I say. Regardless of being pregnant, Ill be in full on red and gold with lashings of sequins, I'm 34 now so its the only time of year I can get away with it!
My top 5 party maternity style tips are...
Don't spend a fortune: Realistically you'll only wear the dress once, TK Maxx, Peacocks and Primark are my go to shops, cheap but stylish, Ill dress their stuff up with some great jewellery instead.
Fitted looks fab! Its my second pregnancy and first time round I learnt that stretchy and fitted is usually the most flattering shape on a big bump, even though you feel enormous, you look even bigger if you wear floaty stuff.
Shop main line collections too: There are tons of frocks in normal line ranges that will look great while pregnant – look for pieces with stretch and a lot of give that will hug your bump and body, empire line dresses that sit above the bump work well too. I loved the Lipsy dress I wore for the Closer Christmas fashion shoot. The halter neck was flattering on my bigger boobs and I loved the colour and bit of a slit at the front
Don't buy too far ahead: If you have a big party coming up, wait until the week before to shop and have a couple of options just incase you have bump growth spurt!
Avoid black! Don't hide away in depressing dark colours, fresh lighter colours are actually far more flattering, they're less heavy looking and make you feel happy when you're shattered!
My favourite maternity brands...
For daytime staples: Peacocks' maternity range is brilliant and washes really well. I live in it.

For fashion forward pieces: ASOS, their maternity collection is every bit as cool as their mainline.

For special occasions: Isabella Oliver – its pricey but the pieces really do fit brilliantly and grow with your bump from stage to stage. Its one brand I'd say it's worth investing in, especially if you think you're hoping to have more than 1 pregnancy as the pieces are classics, so wont date from year to year.
My top bump beauty brand is...
Love Boo. I like that its all natural ingredients, The Body Smoother (£14.99) and Bosom Buddy (£18.99) creams are super rich and really soak into your skin. I love their Super Stretchy Miracle oil (£15.99) too , I rub it in twice a day to try and avoid stretch marks, and the whole range smells just gorgeous.
