Celebrities from Nicola Roberts, Mark Wright, Keith Lemon through to David Hayes have helped raise awareness, with Pixie Lott (pictured above) donating money from her single 'Caravan of Love'.

Along with the huge success of the Matalan Alphabet scarves, priced at £10 for an adult scarf and £5 for a children's scarf, of which 100% of the profits go to the Alder Hey Children's Charity, the campaign has been a huge success.

The donations will help fund life-saving equipment and research that the NHS does not fund, as well as things like crayons and paints so we can give patients the best possible experience.
