Step 1 – Get skin glowing

To get a glowing complexion start by lightly exfoliating. This will scrub away dry or flaky patches and it will encourage blood to the surface to the skin for a pink glow. Finish by pressing a light moisturiser onto skin.

Step 2 – Master a dewy complexion

A primer is a must to fill in any pores or fine lines. Use fingers to apply all over your face to create a smooth surface.. They contain pearls ingredients that reflect

light off the skin, rather than absorb in, to give skin a dewy look.

PhotoReady Face Perfecting Primer Revlon £11.99

Contains a luminous shimmer and clever particles that adapt to skin tone so one shade suits all.

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup Benefit £24.50

This new do-all base conceals everything, hydrates and makes skin look dewy but not shiny. It’s oil free so great for combination skins and comes in nine shades that cover ultra pale to black skin!

Step 3 – Fake a flush

Go for naturally flushed rather than obviously blushed cheeks. A cream or mousse blusher works best, as you blend the colour with fingers to make it look natural.

Powder sits on top of skin and looks flat. Dot colour on the centre of cheeks apples and blend it towards your hairline. Next, sweep a highlighter along the cheekbone.

Illuminating Touch Bourjois £7.49

Apply this shimmering powder with a small brush just above blusher.

Step 4 - Do retro flicks

Keep eyes very simple. Use a nude toned eye shadow all over the lid for a uniform base and to stop eyeliner from creasing into your socket.

Then apply liquid eyeliner along lash lines creating mini flicks at the ends. This look doesn’t demand mascara but if you can’t live without it then apply a coat, or two!
