The swept back style may look tricky, but is actually a total doddle to do at home – it just takes a strong hold gel and a classic comb.
Prep –
Although this look is all about sleek and wet effect – Kendall kept hers fresh with plenty of volume and oomph rather than wearing it flat against her head. Wash your sleek and smoothing shampoo to avoid any frizziness post shower, and then towel dry before rubbing through a little volumising mousse through from mid lengths to ends and blow dry with head flipped upside down. Brush hair back away from your face and blow dry in the same direction for a few minutes to help hair sit where it should be.
Wet-
Load up your comb with a blob of clear, high shine gel and simly brush through, bringing hair away from your face. Brush hair back, but avoid sweeping gel any further down than your ears as it can give your hair a greasy, heavy feel – just stick to the front and roots. It can take a little time to get it exactly as you want, so start with a little gel and build up rather than overloading at first.
Set –
Once youre all done, use a Kirby grip to hold hair back behind ears and keep some on you for any naughty strays that might fall later in the day. Keep the rest of you hair loose and fuss free, this look works best with less shaping and styling. Go over with a spritz of strong hold hair spray across the front and you’ll be all set to hit the red carpet or dancefloor!
