It's a key piece for this summer and the likes of Millie Mackintosh, Sam Faiers and Amanda Holden have already embraced the trend. The simple staple is a total statement-maker but there’s more than one way to rock the celeb’s must-buy.

Reality royalty, Millie Mackintosh and Sam Faiers showed great minds think alike as they both attended F&F’s fashion show last week in the on-trend must-have. However, the fashionista’s showed their styles are worlds apart, each putting their own twist on the white suit. Millie showed off her a-mazing pins in a shorts version of the classic suit, opting for a bargain blazer from New Look – only £24.99. Bargain! The former made in Chelsea member teamed her simple suit with a Breton striped top, statement clutch and strappy sandals. Millie’s take on the trend is perfect for a date night and a shorts suit is great for petite figures, especially when teamed with minimalistic sandals, as it will elongate your legs.

Meanwhile, Sam shows how to put a sporty twist on the classic two-piece. The stylish Faiers sister, opted for a classic white trouser suit but teamed with a sports bra crop top, flashing her toned tum and putting a sexy twist on the tailored look. Sam finished her look with metallic heels and a sleek ponytail. Not feeling as brave as Sam? Try a slogan tee underneath your jacket or ditch the heels for hi-top trainers for daytime.

Amanda Holden took a far more sophisticated approach, wowing in a plunging white jacket and elegant pencil skirt. The BGT judge wore her hair sleek and kept her make-up simple with just a flash of red lippy. The white skirt suit is perfect for a special summer occasion and would flatter a curvy or pear shaped figure perfectly.
