Scrolling through Instagram, it’s hard to imagine that any of the aspirational bloggers we follow lead anything but perfect picturesques lives.

And one successful – and seemingly effortlessly stylish – blogger has let the lid off the reality that is the life of a blogger, and it looks a lot like ours.

Becky Graham began a fashion Instagram account for her four kids in 2014, and her following has quickly grown to an impressive 22,000.

The mum-of-four began posted the snaps online of her little girl Harlow, now four, as a hobby while being a stay at home mum, but it wouldn’t long before she found a brand rep and began to run a successfully Instagram-led blog documenting the cutest of children’s outfits.

But the 40-year-old from Brisbane has recently revealed to her followers exactly what her day-to-day life really looks like, and it involves banana in your hair and writing on your walls. Sound familiar?

With an adorable video that shows the chaos of a house full of kids, the mum wrote:

“It's so easy to be mistaken that within these little squares lives the perfect family, the perfect children, the perfect life.

“But, the reality is most of us aren't leading the life you may think. My life is not glamorous.

“My house is messy. My kids covered in felt tip pen. My eldest only wants to wear her Kmart $7 tutu. My youngest has banana smeared all throughout her hair and clothes. The toys are all hand me downs.

“But you know what, they're happy. And, even though I sit and look through perfect Insta feeds sometimes wishing my life was like theirs....I stop....I watch my children...and I then realise I am the luckiest f*cking woman alive, perfect squares or not.

“So from now on don't judge those squares, just know that most likely their life looks a little like yours....and mine #keepingitreal#reallife #pressplay #video.”

We love this!

Speaking to Daily Mail Austrailia, Becky said: "Basically after being a part of the blogging scene for a few years, you realise people don't want to see your dirty washing all over the floor.

"There is so much pressure on Instagram to keep them perfect, have them in perfect clothes and have the perfect background...but what people don't realise is that they are taken beside by dirty fence with my phone and literally taken during a five minute window each day."

She also explained that the process of running a fashion Instagram account isn't a seemless one - there's plenty of prep and outakes within the thousands before an 'effortless' image gets uploaded.

"I'm literally a one income family with a daily routine just like everyone else...I don't ever want people to look at my photos and think that my kids are perfect or that my kids wouldn't wear Kmart clothes," she insisted.

Another useful reminder not to believe everything we see on social media, ey?
