As many parents will know already, the amount of homework a child is sent home with is a point of contention.
Many have argued that their little ones are being given too much schoolwork to do at home - and that it is stopping them from enjoying their time away from the classrooms.
However, when this 6-year-old showed her parents her homework for the week, they were left pleasantly surprised.
Because, rather than asking her to complete sums, or practise her spelling, or work on her handwriting, it encouraged her to do something a lot more meaningful.
From playing outside for 30 minutes, to asking mum or dad how their day have been, the list of activities provided the child to apply her academic learning to the real world - not to mention enjoy family time as it should be enjoyed.

The inspiring homework sheet was shared originally on Facebook by Gateway Therapies, who explained: “This homework sheet sent home for a Year 2 class in NSW makes my heart happy.
“This! This is teaching our children to grow on the inside AND out.”
Parents responded positively to the idea, with one writing: “With both parents working in the majority of families these days, this is a great homework activity sheet.
“It brings the family together, without stress. Sometimes families only have an hour or so when everyone is together, with parents working long hours, travel time and kids early bedtimes. Let this time be stress free, memorable but still learning.”
And teachers seemed just as impressed, with one writing: “I have sent home a similar assignment for the last 10 years! Kids and parents love it! I have year 6/7 so the level of complexity is higher...and includes grandparents!”
