Shakespeare famously said that “a rose by any other name would smell as sweet”.
Meaning that what matters is what something is, rather than what it is called. Or, more simply, that names don’t have as much power as we think they do.
However, according to a list making the rounds on the web, that statement could not be less true.
In fact, it seems to believe that, if your name is on this list, you are far more likely to fall pregnant in 2015 than anyone else.
Oh yes.

That’s quite a mixed bunch.
So what’s the science - or, at the very least, the logic behind it?
Well, according to Hot 107.9, who created the list, it’s based on the fact that the average age that women give birth to their first child is around age 25.
They then worked out that women around the age of 25 were born between 1989-1990, before Googling the top 15 female names from both 1989 and 1990.
That’s pretty clever, isn’t it?
Share this with anyone you know with these names and tag them when you post on social media.
And, if any of them DO fall pregnant in 2015, be sure to let us know on Facebook or Twitter (@CloserOnline) - we’d love to hear about it!
