As the countdown to the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first child continues, bets are on as to what the pair will name the child, and whether it will be a boy or a girl
When we spoke to bookmakers about their predictions, William Hill were pretty convinced the baby will be called Victoria, and the names Diana, Isabella and Alice aren’t far behind.
Similarly, the name Diana is a betting favourite over at Betfair, who told us: "Following a flurry of bets on the baby to be a girl in the last week, it’s now odds-on at 1/2 that we will have a little Princess in the coming weeks."
Do the bookies think the baby will be a girl? Well, bets on the baby’s gender sit at 8/11 for a girl and 1/1 for a boy.

Things might have changed in the betting world this week as Serena Wiliams sent the media into a flurry during an interview with E! News during which she referred to her ‘pregnant friend’ having a baby girl on the way.
"My friend is pregnant, and she was like, 'My kid’s gonna do this,' [and] I just looked at her like, 'No, she’s not'", she told E! News.

If Serena is talking about Meghan then it wouldn’t be the first time she used a vague codeword. When getting ready for Meghan’s wedding last year, Serena wrote in an Instagram caption, "Follow my IG stories today to see me getting ready for my friend's wedding".
Earlier in the interview Serena said Meghan will be 'the best mom for sure.'
Serena and Meghan have a long-standing relationship, with the tennis star reportedly picking up the bill for the Duchess’ lavish US baby shower, Meghan wearing items from Serena’s clothing line, and Serena flying over to attend polo matches with Meghan in London.
