Summer holiday planning season is finally upon us and we couldn't be more excited. Our vitamin D supplements have been working overtime and we're in desperate need of some real sun and a few cocky t's on the beach. When booking your holiday keep an eye out for these 2024 hotspot locations that promise to be a fab trip...

Guernsey

If you are looking for a beach escape without the stress of a long-haul flight then look no further than the islands of Guernsey, just one hour from the UK. The spectacular coastline is full to the brim with golden sandy beaches, perfect for swimming, surfing, walking and much more. For a beach that feels like a tropical paradise we love Cobo Bay, it’s one of Guernsey’s hidden gems boasting soft white sand, crystal clear waters and the best fish and chip shop. Stay at Cobo Bay Hotel, rooms start from £194 per night and flights from London Gatwick to Guernsey with Aurigny start from £99.98 return. If you prefer to take the ferry, Condor offers return journeys from £88 per person.

Florida

It’s no surprise to us that St Pete/Clearwater in Florida has recently been voted the number two trending destination in the US by TripAdvisor for 2024. Combining the two places in one trip makes it a fun time for anyone who loves sunshine, great food and warm waters. Besides this, both places are bursting with rich culture, 35 miles of white sandy beaches, and the most hypnotising sunsets you’ll ever see. You’ll also get to enjoy local, fresh seafood, spot dolphins in the warm waves, and take in a world of art in Downtown St. Pete. Stay seven nights atHoliday Inn and suites Clearwater with return from London Gatwick with British Airways from £1245 per person.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

This hidden gem is the Caribbean Island that tends to be lesser known one although it’s just as beautiful as the more popular ones. It’s made up of 32 small islands and cays with Saint Vincent being the largest. It offers striking volcano backdrops, fantastic year-round weather, both white and unique black sandy beaches. You won’t go hungry during your stay; popular local dishes include breadfruit and jackfish and plenty of fresh seafood. Stay at the brand-new Sandals Saint Vincent and The Grenadines. A Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony and Tranquillity Soaking Tub costs from £2,424 per person for 7 nights. Price includes all-inclusive accommodation, return flights with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow. Price is date-specific and is valid for travel on 18th September 2024 only.

Albania

Albania is fast becoming a very popular destination. This Balkan hot spot is very similar to Cyprus although you tend to get much more for your money. Albania really does have it all, amazing beaches, bright turquoise water, mountains, ancient towns, and it’s a great budget option! The locals are very friendly, and the Albanian Riviera is a safe option for family holidays. We recommend staying in the Ksamil area which has the most picturesque beaches and lots of great bars and family-owned restaurants serving delicious Albanian food which is like Greek. Food is very reasonably priced, and you can get a decent carafe of wine for under five euros although you may not see this on the menu and need to ask the waiter! Stay at the Sol Tropikal Durres for 5 nights from 2nd June 2024 from £404pp, departing from London Stansted with Ryanair with breakfast Included.

Kenya

If you haven’t already added Mombasa to your bucket list, then we suggest you do! It has so much to offer from plenty of sightseeing options, take a stroll around the old town or head to the sandy palm tree-lined beaches which you will find on the fringe of the city. If you enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving, visiting the Marine National Park is a must-do. And of course, let’s not forget Kenya is one of the best places in the world to safari and more affordable than some of the other destinations. TUI offers a seven-night package holiday to Mombasa, Kenya staying at the Voyager Beach Resort on an all-inclusive basis. Prices from £1403pp. Price
