You can now buy BOOZY baubles for your Christmas tree

These gin, vodka and whisky baubles are sure to result in a very merry Christmas!

Choosing your Christmas tree decorations is a serious matter, but we think we’ve found a way for your tree to be a cut above everyone else’s.

Forget your home-baked gingerbread stars, hand-me-down angels and choccie Santas, because The Lakes Distillery have just launched a new range of Christmas baubles filled with gin, vodka and whisky.

Yes, seriously.

The baubles either come as one, huge individual bauble (which holds 20cl of spirit – almost a large glass of wine) for £19.95, or six mini baubles (each holding 5cl of spirit – around two shots) for £35.

And the alcohol inside is sure to please even the snootiest of spirit snobs.

The whisky they use is called The ONE Whisky, and is the only British Isles blended whisky.

Meanwhile, the gin and vodka gift packs include straight spirits as well as some exciting flavoured tipples. The gin baubles include The Lakes Gin Sloe Liquer and The Lakes Damson liqueur, while the vodka gift pack includes The Espresso Vodka Liqueur and The Salted Caramel Vodka Liqueur.
