She’s one of the hardest working mums in showbiz, and a former prison officer, and juggles her three young children with her hectic work commitments…
That’s right: Your Celebrity Mum of the Year is SAM BAILEY!
Sam, 38, shot to fame in 2013 when she was crowned the winner of series 10 of The X Factor.
Since then Sam has bagged a number one single and album, a support slot on Beyonce’s The Mrs Carter Show World Tour in 2014 and her own headline show last year.
Most recently Sam joined the cast of the 2016 UK national tour of Chicago, playing Mama Morton and starring alongside John Partridge and Hayley Tammadon.
But away from all of that, Sam enjoys a normal life with husband Craig Pearson and their children Brooke, 10, Tommy, six, and one-year-old Miley.
And, as if all of that wasn’t enough to be getting on with, in January Sam teamed up with Leicestershire Police to help with a new campaign to stop children being sexually abused.
Speaking about winner Closer’s Celebrity Mum of the Year Award, Sam said: “I am so happy! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. Everyone who knows me know that my kids are my life and I would do anything for them.
“It’s so hard being away from them while I’m touring and I miss them so much, so to be recognised for this award just feels amazing to me!”
