Which is why we wanted to reward some seriously hard-working, dedicated and inspirational dads – and we needed your help to do it.
For Closer’s Dad Of The Year Awards 2016, we shortlisted a list of celebrities, bloggers and real-life dads for you to choose from.
They come from all walks of life, and each have very different stories; but one thing they have in common is the love and devotion they show to their children.

"Wow! I didn't expect to win this when Steph told me she had entered me!
"I just want to thank Steph for all her hard work with Jack and Katie and how she has helped me and my kids over this last year. I also want to thank my mum and dad and my brother Simon and his wife Gemma for all their hard work, helping me and the kids get through this difficult last year; especially my mum who deserves Mum of the Year and Grandma of the Year! She's definitely been my rock and truly is one in a million. And a thank you to my wife Lisa's family for all of their help and support too."
