We were on the hunt for the most AMAZING pet and we received lots of furry (and scaly) nominations.
There were plenty of adorable pets but our hero pet winner is…Boots.
Here’s what Boots’ owner, Caroline, had to say about this truly special dog:
“Boots is a personable little dog; she truly gives love to anyone who meets her. She first realised her star potential when my mum was in a hospice. Boots was allowed to sit on her bed, and everyone (patients, staff and other visitors) were all delighted to see her. She is quite small but has lots of curls. She's a mix of four different breeds of small dogs (Shih Tzu, Poodle, Yorkie x Bichon).
“She has her own Instagram account @boots_doggie_legend and gets recognised every so often. Above all she is a dog who loves life and loves humans. I recently moved into a new town just a few weeks before lockdown last January and her happy little face and personality and the way lots of people wanted to talk to us, made a difficult time a lot easier. She has also adopted someone who was shielding, and I would drop her off for a few hours for her to have some cuddles.”
