Research has found that one in five British couples falls out over an argument they've had - in a DREAM.

Yep, one in five couples will carry on an argument with their partner once they've woken up after something that was started in a dream they had.

The poll of 2,000 adults conducted by Simba, a mattress manufacturer, found that a third of adults woke in a rage after dreaming that their partner had cheated on them.

We can admit it, we've had that dream. You know, the one where your partner cheats on you with somebody more beautiful and more successful than you and you wake in an absolute RAGE.

We're getting mad even thinking about it.

But the research also found that one in four couples think a dream in which their other half has cheated on them has actually had a negative impact on their relationship.

Ooh heck... We wouldn't go THAT far.

A whopping 24% of people can specifically remember something horrible that their partner has said to them in a dream, and one in four has had night-time visions of a blazing row with their spouse.

A third of people admitted to feeling jealousy over their partner in a dream, with one in four confessing that they then brought the argument into the real world once they'd woken up.

However, it wasn't all doom and gloom, with over a third of people surveyed felt so inspired after a dream that they made a life change.

And somewhat surprisingly, 22% of people actually credited a dream with achieving a particular success in their lives.

Now THAT'S a bit more like it, can we have a bit more happiness in the dreams please?!
