TOWIE star Amy Childs has announced that she is expecting with co-star Billy Delbosq - and she is having twins. The couple, who appeared on an episode of First Dates together, shared the news in a joint Instagram post.
"THE NEWS IS FINALLY OUT, when 4 become 6!!" wrote Amy.
In the picture she posted, Amy and Billy are posed at their front door, with Billy cradling Amy's bump from behind.
The 32-year-old added, "We’re both over the moon to announce we’re having.. ‘NOT 1… BUT 2’… WE’RE HAVING TWINS!! Our family is so complete and we’re so excited for the next chapter."
Their twins will be joining their extended family, with Amy already having two children, Polly and Ritchie, from two past relationships.
In a heartwarming interview with OK! magazine, Amy talked about how meeting Billy made her change her mind about having children again.
"I promise you now, I didn’t want any more children. When I met Bill I thought, ‘Do you know what, I’ll have one more.’ We are so excited – it’s going to be absolutely amazing," she said.
Back in 2019, Amy took us on a tour of her place in Brentwood, Essex, and showed us how she had made her house a home. One room that she gave us a sneak peek of was her daughter Polly's nursery, and she said she loved to spend time in there because it's a vision of pink and super girly.
“I would never be able to have a gender-neutral nursery!” said Amy. “I love pink and I wouldn’t have it any other way. When people come to see the nursery, they say, ‘I love this bedroom, it’s the best room in the house!’ It’s got everything I love, from the muted-coloured ball pit to Polly’s own little velvet throne with a sequined pillow."
She continued, "When I was pregnant, I couldn’t wait to get started with Polly’s room. My favourite feature is the sparkles in the pink paint – I got a handy man to do it after I found out you could buy the sparkles separately from B&Q and brush it over the top of the paint. It makes everything glimmer like the stars."
Hopefully, we will get a glimpse of the nursery for her twins sometime soon.
