A new survey has revealed what Brits look for in a dream forever home, and it sounds pretty great!
Do you love where you live? Is it your perfect place or would you like something a little different?
Research carried out by doors and windows manufacturer Origin has found what the average British homeowner looks for in the perfect house and found they want the following:
-
A detached four bedroom, two bathroom house in a village.
-
A utility room.
-
Bi-folding doors that lead out into the garden.
-
Views of the surrounding countryside.
-
A walk in wardrobe and plenty of storage space.
This type of property doesn’t necessarily come cheap and varies in price depending on where it is in the United Kingdom.
The most expensive price is in London, where this house will set you back around £399,995, but it comes at more than half the price in Snowdonia where it would cost about £156,000.
Whereas, this type of property would cost £215,000 in Manchester and £190,000 in Newcastle.
Origin bosses said: “The cost of the UK’s forever home varies significantly depending on location.
