'Looking back at a picture of when I was a bridesmaid last May, I couldn’t believe how big I was. I felt awful on the day – I was a size 14 and over 10st, but I was in denial and squeezing into a size 12. I felt determined to start a diet and lose weight. The pounds had slowly piled on since I’d had my son, Jared, now three. I snacked constantly, didn’t exercise and sat at a desk all day. My clothes didn’t fit, so I just wore my maternity ones. When I felt down about my body, I’d comfort eat – it was a vicious cycle. Seeing the picture was the turning point. 'It’s hard to count calories when you’re busy – I’m a fussy eater with two kids, two jobs and I study in my spare time! With my wedding to my fiancé Brad coming up in June and a honeymoon to Egypt, I was running out of time to lose weight.
