Being a mum is hard work, as we’re sure many of you know.
So, on the rare occasion we’re offered the chance to take a little me-time, we tend to grab it with both hands.
Gemma Colley, from Leeds, is one such mum.
She headed to her local salon for a spray tan (what mum doesn’t deserve a little pampering?) and then headed back home to get stuck back into mummy duties.
But, when she went to breastfeed her baby son a few hours later, she realised that she’d maybe made a mistake…
Sharing a picture of the results to the Facebook page of popular blog The Unmumsy Mum, she said: "From one mum to another, I'd like to let you know about my epic fail of fails.
“Yesterday I had a spray tan, a few hours later I breastfed my little boy. Cue 5 o'clock shadow and a very guilty mummy?
“Lesson to you all: Don't do this.”
The hilarious picture, featuring her bubba with a fetching beard, went down a storm with other mums, attracting over 150,000 likes and 39,915 shares.
However, before you get too worried about baby's first tan, we have some good news.
Gemma added a second picture, showing that by the same evening the tan had mostly worn off.
She wrote: “Photo evidence that tonight's feed was much less orange Thanks for all the positive comments.
“I’m just another mummy trying to shed light on the adventures and misadventures of being a parent.”
